Birthday Wishlist Wednesday!!

Sooooo my birthday is coming up...here's my list!!

1.  I want some stoneware baking dishes....I have my clear glass pyrex cake and lasagna pans and my pie plate and I love them....but I want some heavy stoneware ones too!! For some reason things just look like they tast yummier in those - This is the kitchen junkie coming out in me

2.  I want some shelves built into where my pots/pans/bakeware go....I have no space (probably bc I have too much, and I need space).  The husband says that is sure to come soon on his to do list so I hope so!

3.  A new CHI straightner, because mine is slowly dying a tragic death that is breaking my heart....

4.  I so very badly want some Toms...I should just go buy them myself, and I can't believe I haven't already...but I haven't...and I want them in either red, glittery black, or glittery silver for my first pair :)

5.  I LOVED the 1 hour back massage gift certificate to a spa in Little Rock the hubby got me last year, so I wouldn't complain if it was a repeated gift!! :)

6.  and of course, you cannot go wrong with gift cards. and for me, the perfect gift cards are for Cato, Gordman's, Kirkland's, Maurices, or for my Sony E-Reader :)

So - HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME :)

Tonight is basketball practice with the kiddos...we have another busy week planned!! I am ready for Thanksgiving which = SHOPPING ANNNNNNNDDDDDDD...drumroll...TIME OFF :) Woo hoo!!!!

November, Gobble Gobble!!

I posted this a few days ago and it posted to the wrong thing...oops!! so here it is:

Wow - October went by quick....and its been a crazy couple of weeks so I'm sorry I've been gone.  My aniversary was last month and it was amazing! Hard to believe that I have been a married woman for ten whole years!! 
We finished with softball and now both kids are starting basketball.  I have to admit that I am so excited to be able to sit in the bleachers and cheer for my kids for a change :)

Derek got a promotion a few weeks ago.  It is such a blessing too - I am so proud of him.  He wasn't thrilled, it wasn't a promotion he asked for, but I think deep down he was proud of himself too.

Did I mention that  I am pumped that its November?? Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday!!! I can't wait!!! Not to mention my birthday is the day before and the best shopping day of the year is the day after, so its going to be a fabulous week!!!
